Locked out of your payslip portal? Resetting your GOGPayslip Password is easier and faster than you think. Requirements to Reset Password

Before resetting your Password, make sure to understand these requirements:

  • Registered GOGPayslip account. You must have already signed up on the Portal. During registration, you provided your employee number, email, and mobile number. Only a registered user can reset a password.
  • Employee Number. This number is your unique payroll or staff ID assigned to you by your department. You will need to enter this number.
  • Registered Mobile Number and Email. You must have the Ghanaian phone number and email you used when you are registering on the Portal. The reset system will send a new password to these contacts. 
  • Internet and device. You will need a mobile phone or computer connected to the internet. 
  • Captcha Code. On the reset page, you will have a captcha code. You must type that code correctly to prove you are human.

How to Reset Your GOGPayslip Account Password?

Employees can reset password through GOGPayslip Portal and EPayslip mobile application. Follow these steps to reset your Password on the EPayslip portal. Each step is simple, and the whole process will be completed in few minutes.

Open the GOGPayslip Portal

On any internet connected device, go to www.gogpayslip.com. This is the official login page for Ghana’s EPayslip system.

Click “Forgotten Password”

On the login page, there is a button “Forgotten password.” Click this to go to the password reset form.

Enter your Details

You will see a form with fields for your Employee Number and Phone Number and a box to enter the captcha code. In the first field, type your exact employee number, then type the registered mobile number.

After completing the form, click on the Submit button. The Portal will check your details, and it will immediately send you a new password.

The system will send a one time password to your registered mobile number and email after validation. Wait a moment and then look at your phone’s messages or Email inbox. You should receive an SMS or Email with your new login password.

Log in With the New Password

Return to the login page, enter your employee number and the new Password, and log in. Now you have logged into your account.

Change your EPayslip Password

When you are logged in, go to the Change Password section on the Portal. Click it, and you will have boxes for your old Password and new Password. Enter the temporary Password you just received, then type a new password of your own choice. Finally, press Update to save it. You successfully changed your EPayslip account Password. From now on, use your new personal Password to log in.

Tips to Secure Your EPayslip Account

Your payslip has private salary info, so it’s important to protect your account.

  • Use a strong password: Use a mix of uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers, and special symbols (such as @, #, $). The Portal itself advises users to create a unique password. 
  •  Password is secret: Never share your Password, PIN, or any codes with anyone. As the Portal reminds users, the account stays secure as long as you keep your login details to yourself.
  • Log out: Always click Log out after you finish checking your payslip, especially on a shared or public computer. 
  • Use the official website only: Always visit the official GOGPayslip website directly in your browser. Don’t click on payslip links you find in random emails or messages, they could be fake. 
  • Beware of scam: If you ever receive unexpected emails or texts asking for your login details, be alert and never share your information. The official website will never ask for your Password in an email. 
  • Update your info: If you change phones or email addresses, log into the Portal and update your contact info on your profile.
